Rootes Archive Centre - Calendar.

For this year we again list the full calendar of meetings and other events booked at the Archive Centre. Please ensure that you check before making a new booking for Westcott for your Club event, because space is limited. The person to contact is Gordon Jarvis by phone on 01491 201551.

2009 Centre Calendar

• Trustees Meeting 7th March
• SAOC Committee Meeting 7th March
• Centre Open Day, Spares Day and Gymkhana, Sunday 29th March

• FBHVC Drive-it Day and Centre Open Day, Sunday 26th April. The Archive Centre is an obvious destination for anyone wanting to follow the FBHVC's exhortation to get out and use your classics on "Drive it! Day". James Spencer is organising a road run/ tour (strictly non-competitive, starting and finishing at Westcott. This will be run twice, before and after lunch, to give as many people as possible the chance to take part as well as to look round the Archive Centre.

• Silverstone Classic, 24-25th July. After the success of the 60th Anniversary of the Rootes Competition Department at last year's Classic the ARCC are attending the 2009 event and this year celebrating 50 years of the Sunbeam Alpine and the 40th anniversary of the Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register. All ARCC clubs are welcome and members can display their classics on the ARCC stand, which will be the same on as last year. The Rootes Archive Centre Trust will also be in attendance.
