This traditional local pub has recently been re-furbished. It offers plenty of parking space when not too busy and a good choice of freshly prepared pub food plus a selection of ales and other beverages and helpful staff.
The original Dog and Partridge was open before 1826 and was attached to the black cottages which were all owned by the brewery on Old Manchester Road. This was pulled down when the new Dog and Partridge was built in the 1930s behind the existing Dog and Partridge. It lies on the border of the Warrington areas of Paddington and Woolston.
The Imp Club meets here on the 2nd wednesday of each month at
around 7:30pm.
