The Reeds
The reeds are all fairly normal scale, the Pedal Diapason being slightly larger. Notice how the
Gamba tongues do not extend as far as the reed frame leaving a small gap, the resulting tone is extremely good.
The Great Diapasons are both voiced with a twist at the end of the tongue, especially in the lower registers, as is the swell Flute.
The Swell Bourdon, Flute, and Great Clarabella, all possess a curve to the tongue. The Diapasons and Swell Gamba are less curved,
and the Violone and Oboe are almost straight.
